So I have 3 little bantam eggs in this old borrowed hova-bator. I was reading the instructions for it online since this is literally the first time I have ever tried this and likely the last time as well.

So it says on day 18 to fill up all the reservoirs with water and leave it. Then it mentions something about removing the red plugs if the humidity is to high and condensing on the viewing window.

Red plugs are news to me... they weren't in there when I got it, and I have not plugged up the holes at all this whole time. So when I add all this water for lock down should I be closing those up? (photo of the top of my incubator from when it had all the unfertilized eggs from my chickens before I bought the fertilized ones)

Yes, I would close those up. I'm doing the same with my Farm Incubators model 4250 right now.
