I have a batch of 100 cornish cross out to pasture in Salatin style pens and they are really pooping alot of red. Is this blood? What is going on? What do I need TO DO?

Huh, really? Wow I will try that for sure!!!

Thank you! I guess I won't worry too terribly much, there is quite a range of normal for them. Thanks again!!

The only things I could thing of were advanced cocci or internal bleeding from rat poison and since you did not mention any signs of illness or deaths felt there was no need to throw those out there and make you worry . A couple of times I spotted a loose reddish waste in the brooder [ one of my supplements is that color ] while they were going through some pastey butt , but aside from needing to clean one that was capped off [ and that was not reddish ] they were all fine .
There is a section for emergencies , diseases , injuries , and cures ; if you have a future problems I'm pretty sure your questions will be answered there more quickly .
