I am responding because we are going through a scaly leg mite problem now which I can recognize and tell you how to treat. The leg scales become raised, and there may be bumps-the chicken's legs look the administrator of this site described well as the nasty witch's hand from Snow White I think-can't remember the exact fairy tale, but it was a perfect analogy. Any chance you could get a picture?
