Red Rum

My hobby/interest/obsession is Red Rum, the UK racehorse from the 1970s, who won the grand national 3 times and second twice. He is from the same era as Secretariat.

I also love mediaeval and tudor history and love visiting castles and cathedral.

I am also getting into falconry with owls and goshawks x

Wow, Red Rum is beautiful! And medieval & Tudor history sounds very interesting, as is falconry. What have you been learning about recently?

The most interesting thing is that you need to imprint owl chicks but preferably not hawk chicks. I would like to own my own tawny owl one day when I am more experienced. My husband knows a lot about falcons and is soon getting a Harris Hawk.
