Red Sex Link/Australorp mix

We have Red Sex Links hens (27) and a Australorp Roo. We're thinking about letting the Roo go with the hens (hence we may get chicks).
Has anyone ever crossed these two breed? What did you end up with?

I just hatched 3 eggs that I got from my brother. He has an Austarlorp roo and a mix of Austarlorp hens and red sexlink hens. Here are the chicks @ 1 day old. Not sure which one has a redsexlink mom or a Austarlorp mom. Will be interesting to see.
