My Buff Orpington Roo (Brooster) i have noticed has red on the back side of his shanks. its has been getting cold in the coop at night down to 17 [IMG] Is it frostbite? i think it is on the backside from when he roosts. his front part of has shank is coverd by feathers, and his back of his shanks are exposed. Any ideas? [IMG]

The back side of a buff orp roo's legs s/b red. It is a sign of maturity. I think he'll be just fine.
