Red spot under neck on 6 wk old chick

Our chicks are about 6 weeks old and I noticed today that our only white one has a red raw spot under her neck. I can't get a really good look at it because she is a skittish bird and doesn't like to be held, so picking her up, holding her head back and getting a nice long look at her red spot isn't easy. I can tell it's not bloody, but just irritated. I'm not sure if it has to do with her big, new feathers coming in or if she maybe got pecked or scratched herself while eating or scratched herself with her own claws... etc. She is acting completely normal. Eating & drinking well. Should I medicate the spot with Neosporin? Is there something else I should do for her? Thanks for any tips!
