Red spots on bills?

Hello, I'm relatively new to ducks. I have two Indian runners, one male and one female. They are probably 10 weeks old or so. We moved them to our outdoor pen last week. I've noticed some red spots on their bills, almost as if they had been hurting themselves on the chain link fence, like a blood blister or bruise? I thought maybe it could be from something in the pen... but I don't want to ignore it if it is a sign of infection. Do any of you have experience with this?

Can you post a pic? They will do things like this you might want to maybe put some plastic poultry fencing around the inside of your pen to protect them from harming themselves[Like a protective barrier]

You can use some Apple cider vinegar [with mother] in their drinking water it can help heal those lil bills 1 Tab to a gal of water.

Thank you for the tip! It's really hard to get a photo, they won't hold still. I will try again tomorrow when I get off work. (It's too dark out now)
