Red star eggs

My red sex links just started laying the other day. They are in with a flock of dominiques and the dom eggs are much bigger (see pic below). I was told that red stars lay extra large brown eggs. Is this because they just started laying? Will the eggs get bigger?

The eggs will get bigger. When my hens started laying, their eggs were small, now they are getting bigger. No need to worry.

How much longer until they reach that extra large size?

Not sure, mine have only been laying for a short while.

The largest egg in the pic was layed about (top left) 12 days after they started laying, it was about the size of a large eggs.

The more mature a girl gets, the larger her eggs become.
