Red Star Males + Phoenix + Extras

I ordered chicks from MMH and lost a bunch in shipping so they are reshipping me replacements. I spoke with them this morning and they said that they will be putting in around 15-20 red star males along with basicly what ever else they have laying around as fillers. I also have a few that were supposed to be pullets that I suspect may not be. I don't raise birds for meat so I have no reason to keep a bunch of meat males. I actually like raising chicks so I dont mind raising them till they are old enough to start being noisy. I'm only intending on keeping 1 pheonix male and I was shipped 3 (that they told me about). As a result I need to place out the extras and also the extra pullets as well.

Price will be based on type (breed/gender), cost of raising them, cost of delivery if you want me to bring them to you or a bio secure place. You can pick them up here if you want.

I'm located in Wylie TX near Dallas. I cant ship them, sorry about that!

I have extra pullets and I might do trades but I would prefer cash to help with feed costs.

actually I don't yet. They are from MMH and those seem to be mostly silvers. But I wont know until they are older.

edit: I looked up pictures of the diffrent colors and thier chicks... mine Do look to be silvers.

LOL yep thats me. I'm hoping someone will want all the extras MMH is sending me. They wouldn't change them for egg layer pullets unless I pay for them... even though these are replacements for ones that they shipped that didn't make it. My husband wants me to raise them for meat. But I *KNOW* myself. I'm gonna get too attached and then I will have 20 roosters... and that's really gonna annoy my neighbors ! hahaha

lol yeah I might try in there. So far all I've got is a bunch of messages from people wanting eggs... oooh and a couple of people sending me SCATHING messages telling me what a horrible person I am for ... *get this* FIGHTING BIRDS. huh?! What? oh yes... today MUST be National "jump to conclusions and look like a... Donkey" Day

People are stupid. But yet... they seem to amuse me. In a sick and sadistic kinda way I almost want to egg them on... but I think they are too close to the edge already.

Thats crazy, They think you fight them? I could understand if you had been selling game birds but your giving away to a good home. Some people are really ignorant when it comes to animals. Most of the people that think about chickens think they smell bad, gross, unsanitary living and many other things but when it comes down to it, an animal is as clean as its owner wants it. People who have pets can either clean up after them or not. Either way some people will assume the worst even though.
