Just curious....
I have two 5.5 week old red star roos that attack my dog every time we come in the coop. They run straight to him and peck him wherever they can. I've never stood back and let it continue- I just step in between them and it stops.
He's just a little furry thing- a yorkie pomeranian mix and he likes to stay right with me. Yoda (the dog) is not in anyway aggressive towards the chickens- he just wants to follow me in while I do my thing. So is this just the chicks being young "kids" or is this already a sign of aggressiveness?
