Red Star, Sex Link, turn White??

I too have a red sex link that I bought as a pullet, and she turned out very white... I was worried it was a roo! I have two red sex links, one has lots of red, and the other is mostly white... I think sometimes that just happens though? Cause I'm positive mine's a hen

In this pic, the very red one is a rhode island red, and the other two are my red sex links.. you can see that one is very white!

my RSL hens vary a lot. SOme have a lot of white adn pale buff, some are dark red with very little white -- it just happens. The rooster, before we gave him away, was WHITE. As his feathers came in there was some color here and there, but very, very little.

This is what my Sex Link looks at four weeks. I have three all white birds.

Agreed, but worth remembering: If you got them from TSC, they often mix up their breeds. That little one doesn't seem to have much of a comb going on, and my guy sure as heck did by that age.
