So, one of my Brahma girls has had runny poop ever since I brought her home 2 wks ago. She's about a year old and hasn't yet laid me an egg, although her sister has laid four. Her comb is much lighter than her sister's too. Today I noticed her poop had small red "strings" in it. I'm assuming I'm looking at worms, but can't seem to find a good reference to it in my chicken book. Any clarification you can give me? Any suggestion for treatment? Thanks.

Yep, sounds like worms. For my big girls, I give them Valbanzen. It's for cattle (and sheep?). It treats alot of different kinds of worm. You mix 8ml of water with 1 ml of the wormer stuff and give each bird 2 ml's of the mix, then give it to them 10 days later. It's worked well for us.
