Red Sussex cross or Rhode Island Red?

My pullets should be Red Sussex cross or RIR. My problem is that they all have yellow legs but the one in pic 1 is very light coloured while the one in pic2 is very dark.
I thought Red Sussex cross had white legs. Any idea?

Not sure, but they look like production reds to me.

You're correct, Susssex have white shanks and that's dominant. So I don't think there's any Sussex in your birds.
