Can someone please post pics or explain difference between red and gold Duckwing, mainly looking for info on hens.

Can someone please post pics or explain difference between red and gold Duckwing, mainly looking for info on hens.

On hens it's quite difficult. But on males you can se their hackle, saddle and back are red enhanced.

So you said in an earlier thread that these would be gold duckwings.

Would this one be a red duckwing. I call it “the young one“ cause it was born last fall with a barred rock/Beardless EE roo ans I think one of those gold duckwing Hens. Although it could be one of my buff/EE hens x that roo or some thing else less likely

Here they are next to each other, (sorry getting photos with these unfreindly chickens is a mess)
