Red,White and Blue block swap

Is there a specific block we are making?
If I have confused you with my block instructions look at the "new year block swap" on page 25 post 245 by RustyHen, those are 3.5 inch blocks and 16 are sewn together to make the 12.5 inch block, I say 3.5 because your sewing a scant 1/4 seam and the finished block should then measure 3 inches.

Not sure whst a patriotic block is, but our flag is red white and blue too

Pretty keen.
I hope you decide to join us, any color combo is great as long as you have red, white, and blue, in either solids or mixed it doesn't matter how or what you use, New Zealand flag prints work too!!!!

@keepmumsane lol that made my brain work it will be interesting to see how we put them together and what type of red, white, and blue we will use will it be solids or prints hmmmmm. This one will bring out the artist in us

The name of that block is Arrowhead puzzle, I got it on quilters cache. I think it's easier to look at than describe, it's very basic.

Ok so I was trying to decide if I should join or not, when I found 3 yards of solid RED that I was given over the summer.
Ahh, guess I'm IN

Would very much help if someone could post the example block on this thread to keep things together, b/c I too am confused--

is it that one specific block pattern?

or

a 16 square patch block (to 12.5 outter edges size) w/ the Red/White/Blue in any layout we like?(w/ the pic being just one possible example)

I'm not really worried about it yet, got miles to sew before this swap ;>
