Red wings? (with picture)

Your little gosling looks like my White Chinese Goslings. So cute! Mine are also having the reddish/pink on their wings right now too. They look to be close to the same age as the one in your picture.

I agree the wings are probably normal. From the look of the top of the bill I don't think it's chinese. It looks like it dips down, chinese curve up because of the bump they get later.

I will post a picture from the front tomorrow I don't have internet at my house only my phone so I will post tomorrow. Thanks everyone!

"My goose has a niacin deficiency (I think I have changed foods to one containing niacin) and its wings seem to be very red and have no feathers, is this because of the vitamin deficiency or is it because its adult feathers will come in soon? I have not seen the ducks picking at it so I don't think its the ducks doing it. Does anyone have a link to somewhere that can show me a timeline of what happens as they grow up? I have found this for chickens but not geese or ducks. Thanks!"

Just wondered if you were using chick starter which isn't recommended for ducks and geese?

Here is the best picture I could get of its head, hopefully it shows well enough

Thank you! But does it really look like a boy? if so I need to find a female for him.

Well my husband named him Goosebert over the weekend, so I guess we will consider it a he from here on out. Thanks!
