    Hello Everyone,
My 1-year-old rooster, an Old English Game Cock mix, has SEVERELY reddened hocks, extending from under the leg feathers to the top of the hock joint. We did have a problem with mites, but we've completed a multi-prong treatment program, and they have been eradicated, from all that I see. I have been cleaning the areas with vetricyn spray and slathering with neosporin, but this is the only area not improving (his wings and vent skin are looking better).

Anyone have any idea what might be causing this? Treatments? It doesn't seem painful to him-he lets me spray, wipe the area, and slather neosporin on it each night. The area feels warm, but it's hard to tell if it's abnormally warm.

    Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!!!!
