This totally sucks... torrential rain and the power went out

As @oldhenlikesdogs suggested, get a thick quilt or blanket and lay it over top. Don't cut off air vents but just covering the machine will help hold in the heat and humidity. Eggs have a lot of mass and don't cool down awful fast. It's common in the wild for a hen to leave the nest for up to an hour searching for food or water.

Found it, it's dead.... using a different powerbank to charge the on with the wall outlet... tell me this isn't insane

Doing a series charge worked for the bit of time the power was out. Power is back on and there was very little down time when I was finding everything. Damn chicks are gonna make me go grey . . or maybe it's blue, lol

He, and not anymore his eggs hatched last week, but he's 2.5 hours away. They're all good now.
