Redinator's First Hatch-Along w Bonus Broody: Extended Edition

I'm sure that was rough too.

Aww, I bet she's precious! I also feel that since she laid an egg, her body must be recovering and that it's definitely a positive sign.
That's what I was thinking too because she's just so cute. I've tried getting some good pictures of her face but she just doesn't cooperate with me so maybe while she's healing I can get her to look at me.

OMG my heart melted with all the cuteness!! :love
Well, prepare for double the cuteness overload . . .there are twins! Okay, maybe not twins, but I only kept seeing one. Then I stuck my hand under her and felt a second little fluff ball. I lifted her a tiny bit and there was a second one that looks nearly identical, at least from the brief peak I got. :ya:love:wee:jumpy

My family is definitely right there about more chickens. I now have 10 and seriously I still want more. If I could get another 20 plus I would be totally obsessed with posting pictures of the babies. I love all of my girls. I just wish the almost 5 month old chicks would stop deciding Mom's here and that means food, food and water. No just let me get back to work so that I can keep you all safe. Whiner attacked my girl Cheeks, she's still alive and she did lay an egg today so I am keeping her inside in a tote until she heals. She's all black and just so beautiful with her adorable little chipmunk cheeks. I absolutely love her. I have 12 chickens not 10 I just didn't count the 2 in the crate on the porch.
:hugsI hope Cheek's is okay, she sounds precious. I have an 8 week old EE that is all cheeks. She's the only EE I managed to snag at TSC. I plan to get a few more next spring along with some Cream Legbars . . never enough chicks . . .too many breeds . . . :barnie

Try taking video then pulling still from the video. They always seem to be pecking at the ground or turn their heads at the last second
