I don't think I've ever really heard anything great about the males. I'm sure there are some exceptions to the rule, as always. But I'll be avoiding them, lol.

I guess they're good if you have a larger flock and free range, but aside from that, I can't think of any.

I needed a chick break after all the heavy lifting. The 8 and 9 week olds are experiencing a bit of middle child syndrome, so I spent some time with them in the new run.

Thanks, I'm nowhere near finished, they're gonna be some very happy chickens, lol.

In retrospect I should've waited to move them after dark, but the chicks are hard to see in the grass in daylight, so I didn't want to take any chances and not be able to find them.

I'll move the incubator chicks out tomorrow evening when I have time to watch and observe Sweety's behavior towards them. My dad has an appointment tomorrow and I'll be gone most of the day, hince the push to get them moved to safety.
