Now I remember why I loved hatching verses purchasing. Newly hatched chicks aren't naturally hand shy they seek and even crave a cuddle and scratch:

Sweety's Egg #3 Reese hatched . . . right as I was going to sleep, of course, lol

I have to remember not to get discouraged that the other eggs are taking longer. Sweety's eggs are smaller and tend to hatch early. I might use seperate incubators, or hatch the same sized eggs at different times with the next hatch.

The two chicks the already hatched from Pot's batch are definitely Kettle's babies, they are cute little chunkers, lol.

I have two chicks that are a mix of like dark chocolate and milk chocolate. What should I expect their feathering to look like?
