My chicks are doing the same. I go running into the guest room 400 times a day when I hear what seems like abnormally loud peeping. Nothing is ever wrong. But I go. Every time.

Ok, I started playing an audio clip of peeping chicks. I have to go tend the chickens outside. I told them they're not allowed to pip while I'm gone, that should get them moving along, lol.
