Redness around rooster's tummy and legs! Help!

Hi! I have a rooster who is 15months old. He seems to be doing fine but a few days back we started noticing that he has this redness on both his legs near the thighs. He was also shaking his head a lot and we found little red insects (mites i suspect?) in his feather. We cleaned up his coop and gave him a bath and the mites were gone but the redness on his legs has not reduced. There's also redness near his butt and his stomach. It hasn't been reducing and I'm not even sure if its increasing. I have no idea what to do. I tried looking up for a solution online but so far I haven't found anything similar to what I'm experiencing. The vets around me aren't chicken friendly. The last time i went to the vet with my chicken, he said "eat it before it dies". Please help!

He may be red from mating that is if you're sure you've gotten rid of the mites. I've had them get red behinds from mating and then redness caused hens to feather pick him.

Here are some pictures. We have started treating his leg with a homeopathy liquid of some sort and it hasn't made it better. And although it looks like a light pink in the pictures, its more like a dark red on his skin. And he's also lost some feather in these areas.

There is this one hen that keeps pecking his feathers. But the redness is in different spots (his leg, butt and below the tummy) and not concentrated to one area so I doubt if she's the only reason that's happening.

hello, did you ever find out what was wrong with your chicken? My rooster has very similar thing right now, including that redness down the side of both of hislegs. Any advice on what it is or how to treat it would be appreciated.
