Our three brahma cockerals have developed patches of redness on their legs. Its in little areas between the scales/skin. They appear to be very healthy otherwise. Combs lovely and red and eating well. Can not find any sign of mite on them. It has been suggested to us that the wet weather we are having maybe causing the problem. Can anyone offer any advice????

Some breeds develop a natural kind of line (if you're looking at it from a small distance) of redness up the side of the leg.

Is that what you're seeing? If yes, nothing to worry about.

ok bit of an update. our main Brahma cockeral is now suffering quite badly with his one leg limping alot when he is up. prefering mostly to sit down. the redness seems to be under his feathers although we can see no open saws or cuts. we will get some pictures as soon as we can but does this ring a bell with anyone?

thanks all
