Lauren walked over to Star's stall. She looked into it and watched Star.

"But we wouldn't be bad,becuase we wouldn't come back. I would protect them,and I would always love you and give you plenty of attention. I promise."

Sugar watched as her owner led her and Appalo into the barn. Appalo was old enough to be away from her mother, so they got put in different stalls.
