The black draft was catching up when he heard a yell and he froze. Uh-oh...

Star reared before she sped ahead again.
(I think Darkness is in Star's paddock)
(Okay.)
Darkness stopped and clamped his tail down. He was in for it!
Elizabeth stomped up the hill with a halter in her hand. She put it on him and took him into his stall. Then she went to Lauren and stated angrily. "You know that nice offsring you were talking about? Well I think you're going to get one!"

Lauren chuckled. "What do you mean?" she paused. "Wait--He didn't--"
Star, at the other end of the paddock, jumped the fence and galloped out to the road.
She sighed and scowled at the black horse. "He did."
Darkness's eyes widened and he whinnied.

Sugar jumped awake as she heard Darkness whinny. She looked at her foal, Appalo, who head dozing off as normal.
Darkness,from his viewpoint in the stall,saw a movement. He snorted loudly,unsure of what is was.

Darkness jerked his head. There was another horse out there!
