Reduce the amount of treats?

Hey there! Just wondering, should i reduce the amount of treats i give them? Science it's getting warm out? Also, my hens aren't eating their oyster shells. What is a good calcium substitute

How many treats are you feeding?

Hens will consume oyster shells as necessary. Sometimes they hardly eat any. You can provide crushed eggshells as a supplement. The oyster shells should always be available free choice as it stays in their bodies longer.

If they are not eating their oyster shells, they are getting enough calcium in their diet. Reduction of treats to a minimal level is always a good idea.
