So I used to have about 30 chickens I’ve done to let down to 11 and one chick
I have a mix of
-Rhode Island Reds
-Easter Eggers/Ameraucanas
-Golden Laced Wyandotte
-White Leghorn variant
-brahma
All 100% organic - they have never had meds or de wormer - never had a reason to give it them.
So my two Brahmas I have and I believe one of the golden lace they are a little over one year-old one mama is a RudyHen . She loves sitting on eggs. It’s pretty much all she did all summer except for she failed epically and only hatched one chick. I let everything happen naturally.
The rest are all mixed I believe my Rhode Island red cross golden lace one or two or roosters one for sure
Also, the check that the Brahma had is a mixture between a Brahma and a like tricolor fancy rooster I forgot what he was. I only borrowed them for a while, just to kind of mixed up the genetics in my flock.
To be honest, I’m reducing because half of the chicken coop is becoming a dog kennel. It’s more important and I can survive off the chickens I have.
I will sell them as a complete flock. I prefer to do that as they used to being together and right at the beginning of summer, we slaughtered off most of what I had from last year other than the three girls I kept to have eggs until the other ones start laying
I will sell them individually like singles, but only if you already have chickens
Other than that, I’m gonna sell them in groups of two or larger. The chick must go with mama. That’s the deal.
Shoot me some offers on I’m in the Freeport area of PA 16229
About 30 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh.
I can meet or you can come pick up. I’d prefer not to ship them. If I don’t have to shipping will be an extra cost on top of what you’re gonna pay me for the chickens.
