hi fellow chicken lovers,
i have 2 broody hens thanks to byc. one of them i started off on duff eggs from the fridge they were our eggs so could have been fertile ones . after 6 days on them i changed her eggs over to the eggs i want her to hatch, i just did this today...as an afterthought i candled the eggs she's been sat on for 6 days and i'm sure some of them are fertile and growing. is this possible.
i no have the problem that i already have eggs in the incubator and i've put these ones in also but i've now got eggs due at different times. is it possible to manage them in the same incubator?
my other option is to tackle my remaining not broody hen and try and make her go broody since it worked with the other two.
any advice????
