Regarding hens

I'm not sure it a breed specific anomaly, but I would think that in some breeds hens are more likely to have spurs. I've had a Heritage Barred Plymouth Rock with large spurs. (she was also twice the size of my other hens but was still 100% henlike, so I considered her a friendly mutant)

I know for a fact my two spitzhaubens have decent spurs on both legs, and my AmeraucanaXLeghorn has at least one spur, maybe both.

My pheonixes might, but if they do, they're not nearly as large and noticeable
