I once ponied Maverick along and I will more. He hates for Hawk and I to leave him, and Hawk hates leaving his brother. Usually Maverick just follows us. But sometimes he bites Hawk's butt and wants to play while I'm on Hawk, and Hawk has to give him a cow kick to let him know it's work time not play time. Maverick is a big kid, he is both ridiculous and hilarious.

LOL thats what I mean about being a good boy.... dont want to get caught between two roughousing horses... My colt figured out the trick of coming to the end of the lead line then Galloping past his ma and me and pulling the rope out of my fingers.. the last part of the ride home was through river bed and lots of deep soft sand.

One time I was prepared... he pulled his stunt but I braced and gave a sharp tug back on the rope just as he hit the end. He went Ars-over-Teakettle came up with his teeth clickking... and never did it again... I was lucky I didnt break his neck.... so could have been a stupid move on my part. He was getting too big any way to pull stuff like that. We wound up moving to a boarding facility that was set up for mares and foals... so he had lots of buddies to mess with while I took his Ma out on the trail.

Lol *** over teakettle. Yeah, see, Maverick and Hawk only have each other and they are super attached. They spend ALL their time together, you would think they could take an hour break but that's like the end of the world to them. They should know they will be together again soon, and they can tell each other about their time apart haha. I have yet to ride through water that actually has any depth to it. I want to give it a try though.

Thats why draft horse teams are sold together.... Because of that deep bond. Plus the fact that they work best that way.

and some have a preference to side... Left or right. there will be specific descriptions on a for sale add as to what positions they can do.

But if it says must sell as a team thats why. below is an example of adds for teams. The very first team are Suffolk Punches... and my other choice for draft horse besides Percheron... they are smaller and lighter and incredibly RED.... LOL

Rural heritage is one of the best sites to pick up knowledge about farming with horses where to buy equipment training philosophies and feeding practices... Not a chatty group but very informative.

I believe the price will be for both horses not individuals.

Probably not unless he ate the whole bag. If you taste flock raiser its kind of salty.... My Goats LOVED it and would take opportunities to eat it.... Even thought it has fish meal in it....
