Back 45 years ago I was taught to stand and rub my hands together.... They most times will let their curiosity get the best of them.... "Whas that.... sniff sniff... " then they would get a skritch Oops there happened to be a halter in the process... LOL.

Very few would need the bribe.... but Id be ready for it just in case.

Very few get turned out here with halters on... unless they are difficult to catch to begin with.

Thankyou everyone! It's like he has had a personality transplant and at last has gone back to his usual old self. His new buddy Brannon has certainly pulled him out of the dumps. Weather has changed here now so we are getting back into a routine of him being stabled on an evening. Been coming in since Sunday night and things are going good. I have to say I was not looking forward to turning him out on monday morning but he wasn't bad at all, really did shock me!! I was expecting him to be wild as the wind but he proved me wrong again. Maybe at 19 he is finally growing up :idunno
