Trying to find a product that is good for "maintenance" in worming your chickens. Preferably something that you can use and is still safe to eat the eggs! Is there such a thing? Please advise. Thanks.

Valbazen is the best. I always eat the eggs. I figure the tiny 6 lb chicken dose is teeny as it is. Plus it's not like it multiplies by 1000 and concentrates in the egg ;)

You will read here that it's recommended to toss eggs for 3-4 weeks after any chemical wormer. Not everyone does, certainly. The drug in Valbazen is also used for people to treat worms. Of course there's always a risk of an allergic reaction with most any drug; it doesn't happen often, but it happens. I wouldn't sell or give away eggs during the 3 or 4 week withdrawal.

There are "natural" wormers, but if you know you have a worm problem, they aren't going to be as effective.

I scramble some eggs & put cayenne pepper in it until it is dark red (4 to 8 oz to one doz eggs) repeat in 10 days.

Hope this helps!
