I have a Little Giant incubator that I cannot keep regulated because I have wood heat. (room temp is inconsistant) I have always had successful hatches until moving here and having an inconsistant room temp. Any ideas? I dont want to give up my favorite hobby!!

I use a wood stove in my LR, only time the furnace kicks on is at night...I placed my incubator in my kitchen on the counter and use a humidifier there with it....try the kitchen...

Try wraping a blanket or two around the incubator. The more insulation there is the less the room temp will affect it.

I have a pet bobcat that would mess with it in the kitchen as he has an egg fetish and is mischievious. So I have to keep the incubator in my bedroom.

Neither will the kitchen if the bobcat will eat them

He would eat them, or usually just plays hockey with them- until he breaks them, then if Im stupid enough to have left them on the counter, he'll go get another.
