Regulation in CA?

what are the regulations on having quails in CA. i just plan to have them not sell anything at all. does anyone know? THANKS!

Same here in Placer County, nothing for coturnix but others you need permits.

Print this bad boy out and keep it incase you're asked about having them. In most parts it's limited to 4 hens.

I think it goes by the city. You should be able to find the information in your city's municipal codes. For example, I live in Santa Clara, I found our city's code regarding animals in the following link. See if your city is in the list.

Riverside cty has a county wide code, if your city's on the list (page 2), that's the rules.
