I don't know if anyone will read this, so I'll keep it short...

I recently moved back to Michigan where we purchased a house with a few acres. After settling in and creating aviaries for my rabbits, I incubated my first chickens, and now I am hooked.

I'm fascinated by feather development. Watching my chickens and just the plain white broad-breasted turkeys that I had last year develop from fuzz to real feathers was so cool. So, I decided to go all the way. I'm looking to get peachicks or incubate eggs. I recently fell into an unwanted, injured, adult peahen. I have been rehabbing her (admittedly not having a clue what I am doing), and I am so proud of how she is doing after only a week and a half. She couldn't stand or move one of her legs when I got her, and now she can do bot her of those and is limping around a little, foraging for herself a bit!

I love BYC and all the information people give. Thanks for all your help.
