Rehabilitation for a mistreated bird?

I have wanted a GLW for a year and finally bought one (btw, is it pronounced wyandote or wyandot?) at a bird swap. Her beak had been cut into a rounded shape and has something that looks like a thick layer of scar tissue on the bottom half but it doesn't seem to hinder her from eating. Her toes (nails?) have also curled around to the side, like a bird that's been raised on concrete or something. Is there anything I could/should do for her? I know I should have checked her over more carefully and I almost regret taking her home, except that I know she will have a much better life now.

Thank you for any advice!

You could clean her up a bit and try to make her more comfortable.
Give her a bath, clip her nails, check her for mites, etc.
Just make her enjoy the rest of her life as best you can.
