Rehomed my two chicks...

My sons class hatched some chicks. We took one and then got it a friend from the feed store.

I spend soooooo much time on my big girls and turkeys that these two were getting neglected. Plus i am headed to NY State for a two week vacation and i know dh would not take care of them as well as i would like.

Sooooooooo i called another mom from the class and asked if she wanted them. I feel so guilty.......but it's for the best. They have four little friends to keep them company and a good mommy that will take excellent care of them. (can't say dh would do the same)

It is nice to have my bathroom back again though!!

Just rambling...OH and see you all in two weeks. My boys and I leave tomorrow morning.

CA to NY... yeah, that would take two weeks. You did the right thing... and what a blessing for the other family. You are the best.

I live in NY and it has rained 20 of the last 25 days. I hope you bring some of that lovely Cali sunshine. But don't bring the air

I hope i bring sunshine too!! It wouldn't be fun to be stuck in rain the entire time.
