Hi I was browsing for owners on this board that live on oahu. I actually messaged one member on here initially not knowing there was a whole section for rehoming.

Me and my wife recently saved an abandoned chick and nursed it back from its fragile state... but it's been rather hard trying to reintroduce it to any flocks in our neighborhood. Weve tried countless times but it keeps staying put, or running back to us, or getting pecked by hens. Unfortunately we move back to mainland in september, otherwise we would attempt to parent it if we had more time. We feel terrible at the prospect of the chick making It alone. So if anyone that lives in Oahu, Hawaii that would like to rehome or knew a place that would take this chick that would be amazing!! Please Help! Below is also a link to a video on youtube of the chick!

There are tons of feral chickens in Hawaii, no? Just look for a new mother hen with chicks and toss your own chick right with or near the group, the mother hen will most likely adopt it as her own.
