I currently have 26 ducks. 4 are my original flock.i will keep those. I have too many at this point. I have my father who will be having surgery soon in another state and I will need time to go there. I dont have anyone long term that can care for them. My children who help are either deployed or will be accompanying me.
I have Ancona males I would like to rehome, possibly as pairs ,as they have formed bonds with a "friend ". I also have 3 welsh harlequin males I believe need a home as I don't have enough females for them.
We had an unfortunate incident with several different snakes returning and our female population has diminished. I would like to try to get a fair price for them or find them a locing home. They are qonderf and all have their own unique personalities...
if anyone is interested please message me. The sooner I can get ahead of the November surgery date the better. I will give location when prompted but I am North of Charlotte, NC I have atrached a few photos of the flock so yiu can get an idea of what they all look like 20220925_101500.jpg 20220925_101455.jpg 20220925_101453.jpg 20220925_101451.jpg 20220925_101449.jpg 20220925_101341.jpg 20220925_101354.jpg 20220925_101400.jpg 20220925_101423.jpg 20220925_101426.jpg 20220925_101448.jpg 20220925_101330.jpg 20220925_101322.jpg

If this does not work, maybe posting at your local high school/college asking for someone to help. Maybe the local feed store or church/synagogue/temple would help you for the time it will take you to take care of your dad.

In my worst moment I once screamed at the sky (hopefully to god, but it may have only been clouds) that I needed help, I rarely ask, but clearly I had gotten myself into a mess thinking I had a plan, but everything had gone to s*** so my "plan" was clearly stupid. I said something along the lines of "obviously you had a plan, but I followed mine thinking I knew better, and obviously I was wrong."

When all else fails, ask for help, humility is all we have. Others are often pleased to help. Give them the opportunity.
