Reintegration into the flock

How long does it take to reintegrate a hen back into the flock? Kiwi was "out" for a week healing after a dog bite and minor surgery to repair her injury. The other hens are at turns indifferent and indignant! They will ignore her, and suddenly, chase her away. I am afraid she will be reinjured. I am letting Kiwi out for short supervised periods during the day and bringing her in at night. She is bare on her neck and chest from the surgery and I don't want her getting cold. Maybe I am over-reacting and the girls will work things out for themselves. Any advice would be appreciated.

if she were mine and i had a place to keep her seperate i would do it till she is well .

I would keep her separated if possible too. Reintroduction back into the flock will be tricky either way. Better she heals first.
