Hello all! I am new to the group and a new chicken mom! I have 12 Iza brown hens. They are 9 months old and I have had them since they were 8 weeks old. One of hens got sick with parasites and I had to separate her. She is on medication and can return to her flock in 6 days. I think she is at the bottom of the pecking order anyway but what is the easiest and safest way to reintroduce her? Any advice will help. Thank you so much

:welcome From what I've read the "See but no touch" method's good ... Put a wire cage with pullet, food & water in your enclosure with the rest of the flock. They can see her but can't hurt her, they get used to her being around. Not sure how long it would take but only you will be able to determine that. When you're comfortable that they've lost interest, you could release her keeping a watch or try putting her on the roost with the rest when it's dark. I've never had to reintroduce so I'm going by what I've read here. I'm sure others will peep in with help

Thank you for all your help. I’m going to put her in the coop tonight in the cage. It’s been three days so we’ll see what happens.
