Good Morning. Five days ago, one of our roosters was attacked by a dog/coyote and we were able to save him and get him to the vet. He was badly injured with puncture wounds and needed stitches/antibiotics and pain meds. We have him in a dog crate in the dining room. Next to him ( in a different crate) we have his sibling rooster. I have kept them together because I heard if I kept them separate and tried to introduce them together again after an absence, they could kill each other.
Here are the questions-
We have 4 hens for these two boys. The one that is hurt has three of the hens. The one that is just a prisoner has one of the hens. What should I do to keep the same order for these roos?
This could take some time for him to heal and be able to be placed outside.
Thanks~
