Reintroducing hen and her chick to flock

One of my 4 hens got clucky, so I got her a fertile egg which she successfully hatched. The chich is now 10 weeks approx. How do I reintegrate hen and chick? My flock is free range.

A 10 week old chick isn’t a chick anymore. It should be able to hold its own or at least run away from confrontation. If they’re free range anyway I’d turn them loose together and see what happens. Just keep an eye out at first. They should be fine.

I know some people who are free range during the day, and have a home base during the night. If that is your situation, then I would suggest putting your 10 week old in to roost for the night. When they wake up together, all will be good and well

Thanks for all the advice given, reintroduction seems to have been successfully accomplished
