Reintroducing injured hen

One of our hens escaped from the coop and got frostbite on her comb. Being the newbies we are, we brought her inside to treat the frostbite and had her inside for about a week, so we are reintroducing her to the flock now. We isolated her with one other hen so she would have an ally when she goes back to the coop and we're letting them work out their pecking order. How long will that take? We were hoping to put them both back in the coop after about 2 days, should that be long enough?

Everyone has their own ideas as to how long to wait. If it was me I would not wait too long and put them together. Whats the worst that will happen ?????? I know you don't want injured hen getting injured by pecking. After a short time the pecking order will get re established and all will be as before. WISHING YOU WELL ....... And if you see abuse, then remove bird until healed some more.
