Broke up a nasty (bantam) roo fight the other day. Guess we left the "punk teenagers" out in the coop too long
Wretched things had beaten each other bloody and Would. Not. Stop. On the up side, they were really easy to catch since they were so focused on each other. Just grabbed two tails and ds and I each tucked one under an arm. Placed them in separate cages, thought all was dealt with for the moment. Turned around and saw our old roo limping along streaming blood, his comb in shreds. So we brought him in, bathed off a lot of the blood and mud and set him up with food and water in the laundry room.
My question is: When I put him back outside would it be better to do it during free range time? Or at night on a roost?
