It sure is!Welcome back to Backyard Chickens. This is a great place to explore and hang out.
Welcome. I am so sorry for your loss of your 2-chickens.Hi everyone! I'm in East Central Florida. My flock is used to be a mixed of purebreds so I could get different egg colors. Lately, we have a bit of a barnyard mix and still have a few colors. We have 8 hens and no roosters.
We had an old child's fort turned into a coop about 8 years ago. Well, it was time to demolish it and build again. Mostly, I wanted to share that with you on whichever place is appropriate.
You guys were so instrumental when I was a new chicken mom. Last year, we had coccidiosis run through the flock. I lost 2 before it was completely under control. Other than that, we've been very healthy backyard chicken family.
Thank you so much! Nice to meet you too.Hello and welcome back to activity on BYC!Nice to meet you.
Thank you. We thought the first one was had maybe died from old age. She was a "dump" that I had taken in a few months earlier. I didn't know her history. But then, when I saw my favorite, Lavender Orpington, was showing signs, we immediately began treating her & the flock. I had fed and watered her for days but we could not save her.Welcome. I am so sorry for your loss of your 2-chickens.
