Hey all. I've been on a 15 year hiatus raising my kids, but used to be super involved here and learned so much. Back then I was raising Marans and Bresse. It was during those years the first silkie feathered blue wheaten ameraucanas were hatched somewhere and were a big deal on the ameraucana thread. I never stopped keeping poultry over the years, just ran out of time to spend here.

Today I raise Saxony ducks, geese, and bobwhite quail alongside various chicken breeds. We still live in rural Hungary, though I grew up in Southern California. I've lurked here a bit over the years, but haven't posted in over 15 years.
