relocating nesting hen

I have a hen that is sitting on some eggs under a brush pile that I need to move. Is it practical to try and relocate the nest? was thinking about putting it in a kids pool in the barn away from predators... thanks..//Moe

Ive had to relocate a ducks nest before, My duck found her nest and continued setting - not sure about hens though as i dont have chickens.

If you move her do it at night if at all possible (they tend to get less upset at night) and take her and the nest at the same time. I have found that mine will not except a "new" nest, but if I take them nest and all it won't upset them.
